Heidelberg Engineering Appoints Adam Hamilton as Business Development Manager, APAC

HEIDELBERG, Germany / MELBOURNE, Australia, July 2nd, 2026 – Heidelberg Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Hamilton as Business Development Manager, Asia-Pacific (APAC), effective July 1, 2026.

In his new role, Adam Hamilton will transition full-time into the APAC organization and report directly to Yu Xin, Sales Director, Asia. He will be responsible for strengthening commercial development and operational execution across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on supporting strategic growth initiatives and expanding access to Heidelberg Engineering's innovative ophthalmic solutions.

As Business Development Manager, APAC, Adam's key responsibilities will include:

• Taking primary responsibility for the onboarding and commercialization of our extended portfolio from diagnostic to surgical across the APAC region;
• Driving the growth and market development of Heidelberg Engineering's broader anterior segment portfolio;
• Supporting the implementation of Heidelberg OPERA at the first reference site in Australia.

The creation of a dedicated Business Development Manager role for the APAC region reflects Heidelberg Engineering's continued investment in regional growth and customer support. By focusing exclusively on the Asia-Pacific market, Adam will provide customers and distribution partners with enhanced access to new technologies, streamlined onboarding processes, and a dedicated point of contact for product launches and commercial development activities.

Adam brings extensive experience within Heidelberg Engineering, having served most recently as Manager of Professional Education, Asia-Pacific. During his tenure with the company, he has played a key role in advancing professional education initiatives, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting clinical and commercial activities across the region.
