Heidelberg Engineering Group Announces Full Integration of MedicalCommunications GmbH to Strengthen Long-Term Product Strategy

Heidelberg Engineering Group today announced the integration of MedicalCommunications GmbH, further strengthening its capabilities in imaging IT and data management.

HEIDELBERG, Germany, 26.06.2026 – Heidelberg Engineering Group today announced the integration of MedicalCommunications GmbH, further strengthening its capabilities in imaging IT and data management.  Through an intragroup merger, MedicalCommunications GmbH, which has been part of the Heidelberg Engineering Group since 2014, will now become fully integrated into the organizational structure of Heidelberg Engineering GmbH.


This integration is part of a forward-looking organizational alignment that reinforces Heidelberg Engineering GmbH’s long-term strategic positioning and reflects its continued commitment to delivering integrated imaging and data management solutions for ophthalmology.
