Product Lifecycle
This is to inform you that the following products or components have been discontinued. You can continue to get support until the product has reached its End-of-Service status - this includes any updates, critical bug fixes, repairs or technical measures required to support the functioning of the device.
After this period, Heidelberg Engineering aims to provide Best Effort Support for as long as the expected product service life is still valid and spare parts and/or tools are available.
However, please note that this cannot be guaranteed and may vary from country to country. We will also continue to offer service on refurbished devices for 5 years from the date of purchase, or until the announced end of service, whichever is longer.
Please note that this depends on the availability of spare parts and/or tools and that the repair can be performed.

Lifetimes of products manufactured by Heidelberg Engineering:
HEYEX 2 / HEYEX PACS / Ashvins Diagnostic Workstation / Ashvins Web Extreme:
- The product has a maximum lifetime of 5 years from the month of release of a major version.
- The end of life will be reached earlier if another major version is released before the 5 years expire.
- Patches do not extend the lifetime.
- Patches to a major version do not lead to a discontinuation of previous versions.
- Patches only affect current major versions.
- Each product variant has a lifetime. The date may vary depending on the version of the different product variants.
The ANTERION® Software has a maximum lifetime of 5 years from the month of release of a major version to a country. The end of life will be reached earlier if another major version is released before the 5 years expire. Patches do not affect the lifetime of the major version
The SPECTRALIS® Software has a maximum lifetime of 5 years.
The ANTERION® Platform lifetime is 8 years.
