On May 4, during the ARVO Annual Meeting, Heidelberg Engineering will present the Xtreme Research Award 2026 Winner, recognizing outstanding innovation in ophthalmic imaging research.
Denver, Colorado
On May 4, Heidelberg Engineering will announce the winner of the 2026 Xtreme Research Award, which celebrates outstanding scientific contributions that advance the field of ophthalmic imaging.
The Xtreme Research Award is presented annually at the ARVO Annual Meeting and recognizes pioneering research that expands the boundaries of retinal imaging and optical coherence tomography (OCT). It highlights innovative approaches that deepen our understanding of retinal structure and disease, support the earlier detection of ocular conditions, and open new possibilities for scientific discovery.
Researchers from around the world contribute innovative work in areas such as high-resolution imaging technologies, advanced analysis of retinal structures, and new methodologies connecting clinical imaging with fundamental biological insights. By honoring these achievements, Heidelberg Engineering aims to support the scientific community and encourage the continued exploration of emerging technologies and analytical approaches in ophthalmology.
We look forward to celebrating excellence in vision research at ARVO and recognizing the next Xtreme Research Award recipient with the global ophthalmic research community.
