Imaging Modes
Your Scan. Your Choice.
The HRT Rostock Cornea Module features three unique imaging modes for maximum versatility.
Section Scan
A Section Scan is a single image taken at a user-defined depth in the cornea.

Volume Scan
A Volume Scan acquires multiple images from a user-selected starting depth, moving sequentially deeper into the cornea in 2-micron increments. These images can then be played back as a movie, helping you to identify the extent of the pathology between corneal layers.

Sequence Scan
A Sequence Scan is a dynamic “movie” file that shows natural eye movement at any user-chosen depth. A sequence scan can capture blood flow through neovascularization and ”pan” areas wider than the single frame size. It is also useful for identifying precise locatons of narrow layers, such as the nerve plexus and endothelium.
