Dr. Safran will describe his use of the SPECTRALIS® to help select appropriate patients for Premium IOL’s and to better manage complicated cataract patients like those with ERM, DM, ARMD, or CSR. He will also explain how this imaging technology helps to manage patients after surgery who present with various issues that would be virtually impossible to recognize and diagnose without HD-OCT. The presentation will also cover a few diagnostic conundrums unrelated to cataract surgery including a patient with persistent photopsias who turned out to have vitreopapillary traction. 58 min.
