Advanced Imaging of Posterior Choroidal Tumors
Presented by Timothy Murray, M.D.
Ophthalmic imaging is a rapidly advancing field and tumor imaging is a promising application of these new technologies. Dr. Murray has recently shown that choroidal nevi and malignant melanoma can be effectively imaged with spectral-domain OCT (SD-OCT) and fundus autofluorescence (FAF). In this course the unique autofluorescent properties of tumors will be shown including pigmented tumors, larger tumors, and those with disrupted RPE. He will also discuss in a case series how FAF and SD-OCT correlate with post-treatment outcomes. 55 min.
