SPECTRALIS^® Identifies 99.4% of AMD Pathology in SAVE Study

An AMD treatment study conducted by Dr. David M. Brown, Retina Consultants of Houston, was presented at the 2011 ARVO/ISIE meeting. The study tested the hypothesis that spectral-domain OCT would detect more disease than time-domain OCT. SPECTRALIS captured more pathology and fluid than other tested systems.
