Protect Your Data; Protect Your Practice
As electronic data replaces paper files in medical practices, Heidelberg Engineering would like to reemphasize the importance of data protection to our customers.
Electronic data is vulnerable to loss or damage for a variety of reasons, including hardware failure, theft, and natural disasters. To assist with data protection, your instrument has an external backup drive (some HRTII systems may use a magneto-optical disk archive). We strongly encourage you to use the backup/archive device and follow the critical actions below:
1. Backup your data DAILY, using the “Archive Images” function in the HEYEX™ software. Refer to the operating manual for instructions.
2. Store your backup device in a separate location after each back up.
3. Contact our service hotline immediately at 800.931.2230, Option 3, if you experience any problems with backing up your data or if you receive any error or warning message containing this icon:
